Leisure Rides

Video of 2024 route (there may be some changes to this years but gives a flavour of the planned route).
ALL Leisure Ride participants will receive a printed leaflet with venue information (to be shown to gain free entry to selected venues) and the two routes clearly marked.

ALL routes will be waymarked and manned by our very own Marshalls.

Leisure Rides

​Leisure Rides are designed to be enjoyed by the entire family.
20 km Route
​The 20km ride follows a route along quiet country roads with stops at -
  • Claydon Estate
  • Claydon House (Free entry to riders)
  • Hogshaw Farm​
30 km Route
​The 30km ride follows the same route as the 20km ride with an additional 10km loop to allow you to visit all the attractions listed below:
  • Claydon Estate
  • Claydon House (Free entry to riders)
  • Hogshaw Farm
  • Quainton Windmill
  • Buckinghamshire Railway Centre

​Leisure Ride Venues

Ensure you collect your Route Map Leaflet at Registration as this is your ticket for the free admission to the attractions listed below.
Claydon Estate
Toilets available at the House, and water will be available from our marshalls.
​Picnic area available for Riders or enjoy the Cafe.
​Claydon House (National Trust) will be open as usual with free entry to riders.

Hogshaw Farm

We have arranged free entrance to this great venue for all Leisure Riders..

Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, Quainton

We have arranged free entry for all Leisure Riders.
​Visit the trains, museum, cafe and facilities.

Quainton Windmill

Fancy seeing the best view of the area from the top of the windmill?

Enjoy a break on the Green and then take a climb up the Windmill that will be open for all riders. Then you will understand why they built a windmill here... because of the hills!
